Site preparation work has begun on the new hitting building at Shades Mountain Park. The metal building, which will sit between Fields 1 & 2 (Cuppett Field), should be completed by the beginning of Fall Baseball. Once complete it will provide SMP players a place to hit year-round, regardless of weather and also provide a covered area for players and fans in times of inclement weather.
