Here is the latest about the Rick Davis clinics and the SMP evaluations.
For those who registered for the Rick Davis clinics, here is a reminder on dates and time. The clinics will be held at the Hoover High Baseball Complex:
- Monday, Feb. 8th, ages 5 & 6, 6:30 till 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, Feb. 10th, ages 7 & 8, 6:30 till 8:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Feb. 11th, ages 7 & 8, 6:30 till 8:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 14th, ages 9 & 10, 2 till 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 14th, Coaches Clinic, 5:30 till 7:30 p.m.
Here is a complete list of league player evaluations (commissioner email addresses are posted on the website, www.shadesmountainpark.org, for questions). Please note that 4/5 YO T-ball and 13/14 YO will NOT hold evaluations):
- 6 YO – Moved to Saturday, Feb. 13th on Field #7; Last name A-F, 10 a.m.; Last name G-L, 11 a.m.; Last name M-R, 1 p.m. and Last name S-Z, 2 p.m. Contact Allen Small for details for this age group.
- 7 YO – Moved to Wednesday, Feb. 10th, from 5-8 p.m. (Last name A–E 5–6 p.m.; Last name F–P 6-7 p.m.; Last name R–Z 7-8 p.m. ) Field #5. Players are encouraged to use the time slot assigned by their last name, but may come at an alternate time to accommodate any church or other activity conflict. Contact Russ Patterson with questions. - 8 YO – Moved to Wednesday, Feb. 10th, Field #6, Contact Gary Wright for details. A-E, 5 to 6; F-P, 6 to 7; R-Z, 7 to 8. Players are encouraged to come at the times following the letter of your last name. However, if church or other functions get in the way then you are welcome to come at a time that works for you. Please check the website and rain out number (822-4606) if we get anymore rain this week.
- 9/10 YO American – Moved to Wednesday, Feb. 10th, from 5-8 p.m. (Field #1; Last name A-H, 5-6 p.m.; Last name I-R, 6-7 p.m.; Last name S-Z, 7-8 p.m. Please note that we will work around church schedules so please feel free to attend before or after your church service.). - 9/10 YO National – Sunday, Feb. 14th, Field #1
- A-L Evaluation Start Time - 1:30 p.m.
- M-Z Evaluation Start Time - 3 p.m.
- Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time for evaluation. You must check in and warm up on Field 2 (Chuck Cuppett Field). Contact Danny Warren for details.
- 11/12 YO – Saturday, Feb. 13th, Field #3. If rained out this age group’s evaluations will NOT be made up. Contact Will Hawkins for details.
