Registration for Spring baseball is complete and evaluations are next up on the calendar. Dates and times for leagues that will hold evaluations are posted in the calendar on this site.
Despite the deadline passing, children may still be registered depending on availability in the child’s particular age group.
Shades Mountain Park Inc. (SMP) is a non-profit organization that provides baseball programs for children in central and western Hoover. The registration fee is $175 per child for baseball and $150 for T-ball. Non-Hoover residents must pay an additional $50 per child. Registration fees are payable by cash or check in person and online via credit card. There is a family maximum of $500. Each player will receive a uniform, ticket to a Birmingham Barons’ game, team trophy and team photo. Games begin March 22, and continue through the end of May ending before Memorial Day. Play is focused on fundamentals and development with leagues for each age group from 4-14.
