Happy Thanksgiving from Shades Mountain Park to you and yours, and be sure to mark Jan. 10 and 17 on your 2009 calendar for Spring Baseball Registration. The December Board meeting will take place Monday, Dec. 1st at 7 p.m.

Special thanks to Joel Berg, Chuck Cuppett and John Parker for leading a pitching clinic for our 8-year-olds Sunday. More than 30 kids attended the event and spent about an hour and a half learning some basic fundementals of pitching. We hope everyone had a fun and memorable Fall baseball season. Thanks to all the parents who volunteered to make it a successful Fall at Shades Mountain Park. We had 319 kids playing ball this Fall and Chamber of Commerce-type weather every week.
